Your listing on alo.bg — without a manual import

Enter the property once in OptiEstate. The system writes it to the alo.bg feed and starts the import in your profile itself. About an hour later the alo.bg ID, the status and the portal’s notes sit next to the property.

Try the path of one listing

alo.bg reads listings from a feed whenever an import runs. The system starts it itself and then reads the result. A demo with a made-up property.

What happened
    • The import — without you

With your alo.bg username and password the system starts the import itself. Without them you start it on alo.bg, and the feed is still ready.

    • Listings don’t expire

alo.bg keeps a listing for 30 days after the last import it appeared in. With the automatic import even an unchanged feed is sent once a week.

    • The owner stays with you

alo.bg gets the town and the area — never the owner or the exact address.

The feed, the import and the result — by themselves

    A feed, not a form

All your alo.bg listings sit in one file on your site. A new listing, price or photo goes into it when you save the property.

    The import starts itself

Every 5 minutes the system checks for changes and starts the import — once all the changes are written to the feed.

    The result comes back

About an hour after the import each property gets its alo.bg ID and status, and the portal’s errors and warnings go into the log.

    No retrying a wrong password

After three failed sign-ins in a row the import stops and asks for the password again — the system doesn’t keep trying a wrong one every 5 minutes.

    Three languages

The title and description go out in Bulgarian, English and Russian when the property has them — alo.bg takes all three.

    Properties abroad

alo.bg takes properties in 242 countries — in its “Other countries” region, by country. The city goes into the free-text area field.

Three steps and you are in

    A paid alo.bg account

Publishing listings on alo.bg runs on a subscription — agreed directly with alo.bg.

The feed address — in alo.bg

In alo.bg’s importer you paste the feed address the system shows you and run the first import. You copy the “Imported listings status” link into the settings.

Username and password — for the automatic import

You enter them once; they are kept only on your server. From then on the import and its result run by themselves.

    Frequently asked about alo.bg

    Do I need a paid alo.bg account?

Yes. Publishing listings on alo.bg runs on a subscription you sign directly with alo.bg. The terms are the portal’s and may change.

Why does the system ask for my alo.bg password?

Because alo.bg offers no other way to start an import from outside — the key in the “Imported listings status” link only shows the result. The system signs in with your username and password, as you would, and the password is kept only on your server. Without it the feed still updates, and you start the import on alo.bg.

When does the listing appear on alo.bg?

After the import. alo.bg processes imports in a queue, so the system doesn’t sit and wait: the result is read about an hour later, and then the ID and status appear next to the property.

    Do listings expire on alo.bg?

alo.bg keeps a listing for 30 days after the last import it appeared in. With the automatic import the feed is sent at least once a week, even with no changes, so your active listings never reach that limit.

Can I list a property abroad?

Yes. alo.bg takes properties in 242 countries — in its “Other countries” region, at country level. The city goes into the free-text area field, up to 100 characters.

Does the listing come down when I sell?

Yes. A sold, archived or hidden property leaves the feed, and the import with archiving takes it down from alo.bg. If alo.bg reports a listing as deleted, it leaves the feed too, so it doesn’t come back.

Enter it once. alo.bg and the rest follow.
