The LinkedIn lead — with an agent, no CSV
The agency connects its own LinkedIn app once. Every lead from the forms in your ads (Lead Gen Forms) arrives as an enquiry within 5 minutes — with its campaign and ad, routed to a project, a property or an agent. With the Advertising API the spend comes in too, for the cost per enquiry.

- Your app, your keys
The agency creates its own LinkedIn app, with its own ad account. No middleman and no shared key — leads go straight into your CRM.
- Every 5 minutes, no duplicates
The system pulls new leads every 5 minutes and looks 30 minutes back. A lead pulled twice never becomes a second enquiry.
- Each form, its own route
A form is routed to a project, a property or an agent. A new one comes in switched on as a general enquiry, so it waits for no one.
From the LinkedIn form to the cost per enquiry
Every form becomes an enquiry
The lead arrives with its campaign and ad, with the source “LinkedIn ad”. The contact’s timeline says “through LinkedIn”, and the source shows in the reports too.
The “Forms” tab
Every form in the ad account is routed to a project, a property or an agent — or switched off. A new form shows up by itself within 6 hours, or at once with “Refresh the forms”.
Older leads up to 90 days
“Bring in older leads” fetches the ones not yet in the CRM — with their own date and no notification for each. LinkedIn keeps leads for 90 days.
A test lead
Fill in the form from Preview in Campaign Manager and press “Fetch test leads”. The enquiry has [TEST] in its subject.
Spend and cost per enquiry
With the Advertising API: daily spend, impressions and clicks per ad, every 6 hours. In “Traffic sources” — the cost per enquiry, beside Meta.
UTM in one click
The system sets utm_source=linkedin and utm_medium=paid_social on the ad account — for every campaign, with no new ad review. Your other parameters stay.
A 12-step guide, every field with “Copy”
Page and app
The app is created with the agency’s account and attached to its LinkedIn Page, and the Page’s super admin verifies it. Every field LinkedIn asks for has a “Copy” button.
Request Lead Sync
With a work email on the agency’s domain. LinkedIn’s two request forms come with ready answers. LinkedIn approves it — from a few hours to a few days. The Advertising API for spend is optional.
Keys and “Connect”
The Client ID and Client Secret are checked with LinkedIn the moment you save them. Then “Connect with LinkedIn” and pick the ad account.
Forms and UTM
Route the forms, set UTM with one button and send a test lead. Steps you have done tick themselves off.

Frequently asked about LinkedIn
Do we need our own LinkedIn app?
Yes. The agency creates its own LinkedIn app with its own keys and ad account — no middleman and no shared OptiEstate key. The guide in Integrations › LinkedIn Ads has 12 steps: every field has a “Copy” button, and LinkedIn’s two request forms come with ready answers.
How long does LinkedIn’s approval take?
LinkedIn approves the Lead Sync API — usually within a few hours to a few days. LinkedIn asks for a work email on the agency’s domain and verifies the company. The Advertising API for spend is a separate, optional request; without it the leads still come in.
How fast does the lead reach the CRM?
Within 5 minutes. The system pulls new leads by itself every 5 minutes and looks 30 minutes back, because LinkedIn shows a lead with a short delay. A lead pulled twice never becomes a second enquiry, and with “Fetch new leads” you don’t wait.
Who gets the LinkedIn lead?
The form is routed to a project, a property or an agent in the “Forms” tab, and a new one comes in switched on as a general enquiry. From there it takes the usual path: routing to an agent, a notification in the system and a push to the phone. The source is “LinkedIn ad”, and the contact’s timeline says “through LinkedIn”.
What about leads from before we connected?
You bring them in with “Bring in older leads” — the ones from the last 90 days that aren’t in the CRM yet. LinkedIn keeps leads for 90 days. They arrive with their own date and no notification for each.
Can we see what a LinkedIn enquiry costs?
Yes, with the Advertising API. Every 6 hours spend, impressions and clicks come in per ad and day, and in “Traffic sources” the ad shows its enquiries and cost per enquiry — beside Meta. Splitting spend by individual property is available only for Meta for now.
Does OptiEstate post to LinkedIn?
No. The integration is for the leads and spend from your ads. It doesn’t publish posts, doesn’t send conversions back to LinkedIn and doesn’t create campaigns or audiences.
How long does the LinkedIn connection last?
LinkedIn grants access for 60 days. Ten days before it ends the guide turns yellow, and if access expires, the people who can fix it see a bar and get a notification once a day. On “Reconnect” the forms and their routing stay.
